Some people hate wearing suits. I actually love wearing them. While their charm is diminished in b-school, where people dress like scrubs to go to class, what I usually like about them is they take away the pressure to put together an outfit. They do that for you.
But nonetheless, I find myself dreading "suit" days (which are pretty frequent these days). Why? Because of the preparation. I can't wash them myself, so when they need to be cleaned, I need to find a 3-day window in which I can do without it (hard) and then pay about $8 (even harder). Wearings between which a cleaning is not necessary are even worse -- then I have to iron, I have to attempt to make sure no wrinkles occur while transporting the suit to and from campus (something I am loathe to do because putting on a suit simply for an event makes me feel like a fraud), and I have to try not to sweat or get my expensive shirts dirty because they need to be washed by hand.
But seriously, the worst is the ironing. I'm terrible at it. I've been reassured that my shirts are harder than most (stretch as they are), but that knowledge doesn't help me be wrinkle-free. It's not for lack of practice -- I had a boyfriend in another town who worked on Fridays when I didn't, and since I was stuck at his house all day when I visited, I tried to be a good little wifey and iron his massive shirt collection. It took me all day! I'm pretty sure it's a skill I'm never going to master.
I need to graduate already so I can pay someone else to do it.

Agreed. I like wearing suits because I don't have to think much about what I will wear with it and it actually makes me feel more confident and "in charge."
But the dry cleaning is nuts. And Ironing...please. I spend all day trying not to wrinkle my suits. I once wore what I thought was a wrinkled suit and nobody seemed to notice --and I made it a point to find the people who normally would point that out (the anal amongst us).
A tip I have found useful If you loathe ironing--steam up your shower and hang the wrinkled items in the room with the steam for a bit. It's a dreadful waste of water but it works in a pinch.
Clothes steamers are awesome, and not that expensive. Well worth it if you hate ironing.
